Production and post production during the event. With approx. 160 participants, the Adidas Runners Community made up a significant proportion of the starter field. In order to boost the social media channels of the AR Community as well as the Terrex Community, we produced all content pieces during the event which were directly shared both on official Adidas Runners' channels and on individual participants' accounts.
Boost Adidas Runners Community's Social Media activity with content. In order to optimize the quality of the user generated content, we created a style guide with basic recording styles and a story guideline consisting of a range of questions and activities to be answered and recorded. We asked the runners to document their preparation, travels, the events at the location and the actual runs in their own individual way. In the edits we mixed user generated content with the footage shot at the event by Cinegramm team, combining different perspectives of the event. Thus we were able to create authentic and original impressions of the event in its unity and diversity and capture the mood at the scene.
Our Daily Recaps were short collage style videos from an eclectic mix of footage. We combined videos from the event camera team, footage from our own photographer and cinematographers and user generated content. We encouraged the runners to film their daily routines during prep, travel, right before and during the race. We also asked them to give us personal insight into their life as a runner.
